Questions About The Lubricant Store:
A: There are actually many differences, but here are two important ones:
First, at The Lubricant Store, we're lubrication specialists. We focus on lubricants, cutting oils, coolants,
cleaners and related fluids and products.
Second, we pride ourselves on offering unsurpassed service, technical advice and support. Our
engineers are certified by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (www.stle.org),
and are eager to answer any question you have about a particular application.
A: You can see exactly how much shipping will cost before you check out by looking at your cart. We offer same-day shipping on almost every product, and all orders received before 2PM (Eastern time) will be processed that day. Depending on your location, almost all orders should arrive within 2-3 days – you'll know the shipping estimates and exact costs before you finish your order. If you need your product sooner, please select a freight option that best suits your delivery requirement.
A: Unfortunately, because of contractual agreements with our suppliers we can't ship outside the US.
A: Orders placed by 2pm are normally processed on the same day. If you placed your order after 2pm, it will be processed the next business day. When your order is processed, we'll update your account and you'll receive an email with your shipment tracking number.
Q: What if I need my shipment faster? Can I upgrade my shipping option?
A: If you need your shipment to reach you in a guaranteed time frame (2 days, next day, etc), the only way we can guarantee your order arriving in that time frame is when you choose that shipping option while checking out. When placed before 2 pm, we can usually ship it out the same day when we have it in stock. While we make every effort to ensure a quick delivery, there is no way we can guarantee that ground shipments will reach you in a specific time frame.
A: Absolutely! We're here to serve the needs of small, independent operations as well as large industrial facilities. Virtually all of our products are packed in small packages – pails, tubes, and the like – and shipped via standard ground shipping companies for fastest service. This is so you don't have to maintain large inventories.
A: A pail is always 5 gallons. However, greases tend to be measured in pounds (lbs.), so you'll see some greases specified as coming in a 35 lb. pail.
A: Yes, The Lubricant Store can offer our customers larger package sizes. For information regarding larger package sizes please fill out our contact form and a customer service representative will email you a quote.
A: At this time we are not offering a volume discount. We've worked hard to make sure our prices are already very competitive, and come with additional benefits like free shipping on orders over $300. However, if you feel like you might be the exception, feel free to email us for a quote at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A: Yes we do. In addition to the manufacturers' warranties on all our top quality lubricants and fluids, The Lubricant Store also offers a full money-back guarantee. A: Sometimes a shipment is damaged in transit. Most of the time, the shipper notifies us and we start taking care of it before you even know about it. However, if your order arrives damaged, the first thing to do is to refuse delivery and let us know. If you've already received it, please send an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your order number and describe which items were damaged and how, and we'll do everything in our power to make sure you get your complete order. Our goal is to make sure you have a great shopping experience with us that you'll find valuable.

A: Sometimes this happens. Whether you've ordered too much or ordered the wrong product, or for any other reason, you can initiate a return by sending our customer service an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We do reserve the right to charge up to 20% as a restocking fee to cover the cost of additional return shipping and warehouse staff's time. Original shipping charges are non-refundable in most cases where the product has already left our warehouse.
