Mobiltherm heat transfer oils are high performance products intended for use in closed indirect heating installations. They are formulated from highly refined base stocks that are resistant to thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. They have good heat transfer efficiency and their viscosities are such that they can be pumped readily at both start-up and operating temperatures. The flash points of these oils will not decrease significantly in service because of their resistance to thermal cracking at the operating temperatures for which they are recommended. The Mobiltherm products are very thermally stable and are capable of an extremely long service life without deposit formation or viscosity increase. They demonstrate specific heats and thermal conductivities that provide more rapid heat dissipation. Mobiltherm heat transfer oils are recommended for use in both closed and open, cold-oil sealed, indirect heating and cooling systems in all kinds of industrial processes.Learn More

Mobil System Cleaner is an oil-soluble, solvent-free cleaner that contains emulsifiers, dispersants, and rust inhibitors. It is safe for use with all ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial equipment. A 5% concentration of Mobil System Cleaner in the system oil is typically recommended. The product is compatible with all seals up to 20% maximum concentration in the oil. Because of the viscosity and high flash point of Mobil System Cleaner, equipment can be operated normally during the cleaning process.Product Data Sheet Learn More
Mobil Gargoyle™ Arctic Oil 300 is a high performance ISO VG 68 naphthenic mineral oil primarily intended for use in refrigeration compressors. It has low pour points and excellent fluidity at very low temperatures by virtue of being almost wax-free. Consequently, use of this Mobil Gargoyle Arctic oils helps to ensure that evaporator tubes are kept clean to improve heat transfer and to reduce downtime for maintenance. It has good chemical stability and is suitable both for cylinder and bearing lubrication.
Mobil Gargoyle Arctic Oil 300 is compatible with most refrigerants except sulphur dioxide. It is not recommended for use with HFC refrigerants. The moisture content of Mobil Gargoyle Arctic Oil 300 is very low when the oils are packaged. Every precaution should be taken to keep the oil dry to avoid the formation of ice in expansion valves, and to limit the risks of oil degradation, copper plating, etc.
JAX Pyro-Kote 220 is a 100% synthetic high temperature lubricant carrying an NSF H2 rating. It is well known for cleaning carbon deposits and extending chain life. It has exceptional antiwear properties and uses high quality synthetic base fluids, ensuring the maximum useful life even at high temperatures. This product is recommended for use on dryers, heatsetting machines, tenter frames, oven conveyors and chains, or in other applications where a lubricant with excellent high temperature performance is needed.Learn More
Mobil SHC Grease 460 WT is an ISO VG 460 high performance grease that is an ideal choice for wind turbine applications where temperatures are extreme. It is a synthetic grease with a lithium complex thickener and is wax free, giving it excellent low temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque. It also provides superior adhesion and resistance to water, and is structurally and chemically stable. The additive combination in the grease provides excellent protection against wear, rust and corrosion at high and low temperatures.
Mobil SHC Grease 460 WT is the preferred fill product for many wind turbine builders and component suppliers. It was specially formulated to lubricate yaw, pitch and main bearings of wind turbines and has a reputation for exceptional quality and reliability that has been proven in over 10,000 wind turbines worldwide.Learn More
Mobilarma 500 Series oils are premium performance products primarily intended as run-in or lay-up lubricants, which provide effective rust preventive films on the internal surfaces of machinery. They are particularly suitable as run-in lubricants for diesel and gasoline engines. The oils displace water from metal surfaces and form strong water-resistant films on the metal surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion. The Mobilarma Series oils absorb the water in systems into a water-in-oil emulsion so that the contact surfaces of the machinery still get satisfactory lubrication. Their high level of chemical stability and their anti-wear and detergent properties make them suitable as high quality short-term lubricants.
In most applications, the residual rust preventive films need not be flushed away when the assembly is filled with lubricating oil or hydraulic fluid and put back in service. However, flushing with a charge of lubricating oil to remove the Mobilarma product or its residual film, is recommended if:
1. The Mobilarma does not provide the required lubricant characteristics to operate the equipment at rated loads and temperaturesLearn More
2. Draining of the equipment is difficult and considerable pockets of the Mobilarma cannot be easily removed
3. Contamination of the system oil by the Mobilarma could reduce the lubrication performance characteristics (examples; Mobilarma could increase Freon cloud points in compressors or water-in-oil emulsions reduce anti-wear characteristics in high pressure hydraulic systems)
4. Presence of the rust preventive agents reduces the ability of the new oil to separate water in turbine and similar equipment.
