Stick with Mobil 1
My 2015 Corvette recommends Mobil 1 synthetic oil. It has performs flawlessly, so I decided all the fluids in my car should be Mobil 1 synthetic. So I had the dealer flush my trans, and use this as my automatic transmission fluid, as well as replace my diff fluid with Mobil 1 synthetic as well.

I recently bought an 13 yr old truck. The truck only has 40,000 miles on it, however it seems they were hard miles. I trust Mobile 1 lubricants and so have decided to give the tranny a flush and change to better protect my investment.

I like Mobil 1 fluids and need DEXRON VI for my truck's trans and transfer case. The dealership used this on my 2016 Camaro to get rid of a torque converter shudder. Awesome stuff.

BEST ANSWER: The Mobil 1 Syn LV ATF HP is superior to the Mobil Dextron V1 but I would need more specifics to your application to tell you whether it will perform better.
Can this product be used in BMW applications that specify Dextron I such as transfer cases on e70?

BEST ANSWER: Code 122210 is no longer available, there was a formulation with it but we wouldn't know what was changed in the formula. I do know that it is recommended that the two do not mix.
Can you use this in a 6r140 that takes lv fluid ?

BEST ANSWER: No. The 6R140 found in the Ford 6.7L Diesel Trucks call for MERCON LV which is a registered trademark of The Ford Motor Company. This Mobil1 DEXRON ATF LV HP was specifically designed for the Newer GM 8L90E 8 speed transmission found in the Corvette, Camaro, Cadillac CTS-V and GM trucks and SUVs. DEXRON is a registered trademark of General Motors.
