Mobil 600W Super Cylinder (55 Gal. Drum)
Mobil 600W Super Cylinder oil is a high-performance, high-viscosity oil created for the splash lubrication of enclosed worm gears operating at moderate to high speeds and temperatures, and where heavy loads, high temperatures or slow speeds demand high-viscosity oils. It is also intended for use in steam engine cylinder applications, couplings, bearings and break-in of compressor cylinders under higher temperature and load conditions. In steam applications, Mobil 600W Super Cylinder Oil is recommended for saturated and superheated steam up to a temperature of 500 degrees F (260 C). Created from high-quality base stocks that resist oxidation and thermal degradation, Mobil 600W Super Cylinder oil prevents buildup of harmful deposits caused by the high operating temperatures of steam cylinders, while shielding against rust and corrosion. Mobil 600W Super Cylinder oil ensures excellent lubricity and film strength, and is highly resistant to water washout.
