Mobil Aero HFA (55 Gal. Drum)
Mobil Aero HFA aviation hydraulic fluid is designed to meet the demanding requirements of commercial aircraft applications. Composed of mineral base oil stock and containing shear-stable VI improvers, Mobil Aero HFA is formulated for aircraft systems requiring use of hydrocarbon-based hydraulic fluids. Mobil Aero HFA is a low-viscosity, high-viscosity-index (370) fluid with good anti-wear performance and chemical stability, as well as excellent low-temperature properties. This product provides extended, trouble-free service over a broad range of operating conditions. Mobil Aero HFA meets the requirement of the U.S. Military specification MIL-H-5606A (now obsolete), and while it is no longer used by the U.S. Military, it is still used in small, private, older and commercial aircraft. This product is also suitable for industrial and commercial equipment requiring good fluidity at very low temperatures, as it can be used at temperatures down to -65 degrees F (-54 C).
