Mobil Delvac 1 Gear Oil 80W-140 (55 Gal. Drum)
Mobil Delvac 1 Gear Oil 80W-140 is formulated for unsurpassed performance in heavy-duty drivetrains that require gear lubricants with relatively high viscosity (139) and excellent load-carrying capability, where extreme pressures and shock loading are expected. This product is recommended for use in on-highway light- and heavy-duty trucks, buses and vans; heavy-duty manual transmissions, axles and final drives requiring API Service MT-1/GL-5 EP gear oil service classification and for off-highway industries such as mining, quarrying, construction and agriculture. Additional recommended applications: heavy-duty industrial gear drives including hypoid and worm gears operating under conditions where high speed-shock load, high-speed/low-torque and/or low-speed/high-torque conditions prevail; and equipment such as winch reduction gears and crawler vehicle propulsion gear drives that are exposed to severe low temperatures. Mobil Delvac 1 Gear Oil 80W-140 is recommended by ExxonMobil for use in applications requiring the MIL-PRF-2105E specification.
Not suggested for use in API GL-4 applications or manual, automatic or semi-automatic transmissions where engine oil or automatic transmission fluids are recommended.
