Mobil DTE Heavy Medium (55 Gal. Drum)
Mobil DTE Heavy Medium circulating lubricant is ISO Viscosity Grade 68, with a viscosity index of 95. Formulated from highly refined base stocks and an additive system that provide an extremely high level of chemical and thermal stability, this product ensures rapid, complete separation from water plus a high level of emulsification resistance. Mobil DTE Heavy Medium oil is designed for applications such as steam and hydroturbine sets and other systems where long lubricant life is required, also including turbines with oil supplied by splash, bath, ring oiling or other mechanical means; moderate severity hydraulic pumps; continuous service in plain and roller bearings and parallel shaft gearing; compressors and vacuum pumps handling air, natural gas and inert gases, and with discharge temperatures not exceeding 302 degrees F (150 C); and land-based and marine steam turbine, hydroturbine and some gas turbine circulation systems, including pumps, valves and other ancillary equipment. Additionally, its air release properties help to make Mobil DTE Heavy Medium an excellent choice where ISO VG 68 double inhibited R&O oils are recommended.
