Mobil EAL Arctic 68 Refrigeration Oil (EAL stands for Environmental Awareness Lubricants) is fully synthetic and uses ozone friendly HFC refrigerants to lubricate refrigeration compressors and systems. It also works in carbon dioxide applications (piston type applications), allowing proper oil to be returned to the compressor. This outstanding refrigeration oil provides wear protection, lubrication, chemical and thermal stability, and hydrolytic stability. It mixes well with HFCs and its performance has been documented in a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems from many major compressor and system builders around the world.
This refrigeration oil is recommended for use in residential and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems where HFC or carbon dioxide refrigerants are used.
