Mobil Glygoyle 680 is a superior performance gear, bearing and compressor oil uniquely designed for lubricating worm gears, particularly for heavy-duty severe service conditions, both in food-grade and non-food-grade applications such as filled-for-life gearboxes, conveyors, escalators, material handling, press drives and packaging machinery. This series of fully synthetic, polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricants is excellent for use in a variety of gear and bearing applications in the cement, metalworking, food, plastics and textile finishing industries. Mobil Glygoyle 680 also outperforms mineral and PAO synthetic lubricants in hydrocarbon gas compression applications, as it reduces viscosity dilution. The specially formulated PAG lubricants allow superb wear and micropitting protection for crucial equipment components by allowing more torque to be put through the reducer while also helping lower the operating oil sump temperature, thus offering extended seal, oil and gearbox life. Mobil Glygoyle 680 is NSF H1 registered, with a viscosity index of 265.
