Mobil Sawguide Oil 100 (55 Gal. Drum)
Mobil Sawguide Oil 100 is specially engineered to meet the lubrication requirements of the thin saw blades of modern gang saws and edgers. Formulated with unique tackiness additives to reduce the amount of oil thrown off the blades or blown off by air/water sprays, Mobil Sawguide Oil 100 forms a highly effective friction-reducing film between the blade and the guide, decreasing wear and lowering operating temperature, in turn reducing cooling-water requirements. This product contains a potent anti-rust additive to protect blade surfaces from rust that could otherwise stain lumber surfaces. Mobil Sawguide Oil optimizes lubricant solvency to reduce buildup of pitch, or wood resin, on the blade, while adhering to blade and guide surfaces to provide reliable protection against damaging metal-to-metal contact.
