Mobil Vactra No. 4 (55 Gal. Drum)
Engineered from high-quality base stocks and an advanced additive system, Mobil Vactra No. 4 is a premium-quality slideways lubricant intended to meet the requirements for accuracy, aqueous coolant separability and protection of precision machine tools. Mobil Vactra No. 4 is recommended for large machines where precision is required and way pressures are high. The specially formulated additive system in Mobil Vactra No. 4 offers excellent frictional properties to reduce chatter and stick-slip on a wide variety of way materials, including steel-on-polymer and steel-on-steel. Mobil Vactra No. 4 reduces the deterioration of sliding surfaces, and is designed for use with combinations of cast iron, steel and non-metallic way materials. Their adhesiveness also prevents removal of lubricant from critical surfaces.
Mobil Vactra Oil No. 4 is recommended for use in machine tool slideway systems that require ISO VG 220 slideway oil.
