Mobilgear 600 XP 460 is an ISO VG 460, extra-high-performance gear oil designed for all types of enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication systems. Providing extra protection against micropitting, as well as containing exceptional Extreme Pressure characteristics and load-carrying properties, Mobilgear 600 XP 460 is recommended for a broad variety of marine and industrial applications. Specific applications for this product include industrial spur, helical and bevel enclosed gears with circulation or splash lubrication operating at bulk oil temperatures up to 212 degrees F (100 C), and it is particularly suitable for gear sets working under heavy or shock loads. Mobilgear 600 XP is also suitable for marine gearing applications, as well as non-gear applications such as highly loaded and slow-speed plain and rolling contact bearings. Mobilgear 600 XP 460 is approved by Siemens AG for use in Flender gearboxes. Using Mobilgear 600 XP 460 helps maintain gearbox seal integrity, preventing oil leaks and contamination.
