Designed for a wide range of industrial and marine applications, especially for spur, helical, worm and bevel gearing, Mobilgear 600 XP 680 is an ISO VG 680 high-performance gear oil with outstanding Extreme Pressure characteristics and load-carrying properties. Mobilgear 600 XP 680 is intended for use in all types of enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication systems, and it provides exceptional micropitting wear and corrosion protection that exceeds industry standards. Specific industrial applications of Mobilgear 600 XP 680 include gearing for conveyors, agitators, dryers, fans, mixers, presses, pulpers, pumps (including oil well pumps), screens, extruders and other heavy-duty applications. Marine gearing applications include main propulsion, centrifuges, deck machinery such as winches, windlasses, cranes, turning gears, pumps, elevators and rudder carriers. Non-gear applications for this product include shaft couplings, screws and heavily-loaded plain and rolling contact bearings operating at slow speeds. Mobilgear 600 XP 680 is approved for use in Flender gearboxes by Siemens AG.
