Mobilgrease CM-L is an NLGI Grade 1 extra high performance extreme-pressure grease. It is formulated with a proprietary lithium complex thickener system and contains 3% moly (molybdenum sulphide) for added wear protection. It also contains an extreme pressure additive for exceptional wear protection under severe conditions, as well as other additives for high-temperature oxidation resistance and rust protection. Mobilgrease CM-L remains in place, exhibiting resistance to water wash and high temperatures, and won't corrode steel or copper-bearing alloys. It is also compatible with conventional seal materials.
Mobilgrease CM-L is a winter-grade product recommended for cold-temperature service in construction or mining applications.

Is this recommended for water wheel bearings?
BEST ANSWER: The Mobilgrease CM-L has great water resistance so it's a good choice, however, it does have 3% Moly in it so if you are using this for any rolling elements your better choice would be the Mobilgrease CM-W.
